FOLLOW THE SOUND - Walking Sound Happening
In the organizer's words:
On October 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2026, the Munich-based collective Kunstkonsulat, in cooperation with the Slovak festival Hradby Samoty, will host four musical walks through Munich.
Following two routes through Parkstadt Schwabing (Oct. 16 & 17, 2026) and the Maximiliansanlagen (Oct. 23 & 24, 2026), the approximately two-hour tours combine contemporary music, sound art, and performance. At several stops along each route, different locations and urban spaces will be transformed into temporary stages.
October 16 and 17, 2026 – Parkstadt Schwabing
Meeting point: 5:45 p.m., Alte Heide subway station, Exit A / Domagkstraße
October 23–24, 2026 – Maximiliansanlagen
Meeting point: 5:45 p.m., Maximilianswerk, eastern bank of the Isar north of the Maximiliansbrücke
Duration: approx. 2 hours each, distance: approx. 1 km.
Free admission; no registration required.
The events will take place rain or shine; umbrellas will be provided, and several stations are covered.
