House of Commons debate: What to do with cyclists?
Cycling is considered to be climate-friendly - and yet the interaction in road traffic causes discussions in many places. Cycle paths are often too narrow or missing altogether, there is a lack of parking facilities and different forms of mobility clash in confined spaces. Who owns the city? And how can public space be distributed fairly?
The House of Commons debate at the Dresden Transport Museum invites you to discuss the opportunities, conflicts and future prospects of cycling. The audience's opinion is also expressly requested: by choosing their seat, visitors can position themselves on various theses and enter into discussion with experts from science and society.
An open debate about mobility, urban planning and living together in public spaces.
