Especially at night, street photography has a special appeal due to the colorful light of car headlights, neon signs and street lighting. The city never sleeps and we set out to capture moments that show urban life in all its curiosity and banality.

In this photo workshop, you will learn to capture scenes in the city that are as atmospheric as individual images from a movie. Through the interplay of light and shadow, exciting image composition and finding the right moment , we will create unique snapshots of the urban night.

Skillful staging of street scenes and moments allows our pictures to tell little stories: storytelling is a central component of street photography and in this photo course we look at how we can use it to conjure up captivating pictures from everyday situations.

Salzburg at night never stands still and I will also show you how you can effectively incorporate the movement of passers-by into your photos and what else there is to consider in street photography in general and at night in particular.

You will learn about the possible applications as well as the advantages and disadvantages of color and black and white photography in this genre and I will help you to get the best out of your camera in difficult lighting situations.

On this photo tour through the Salzburg night, the individual support of each participant is particularly important to me. You will get immediate feedback and suggestions for your pictures on location and answers to (hopefully ;) ) all your photo questions.

Due to the small group size (max. 6 people), I can pick you up exactly where you are and there is always time to answer individual questions or to tinker with a motif together.
