Otay:Onii (Lane Shi) is a performance artist and musician born in Haining, China. She lives in New York City and currently in Berlin. In addition to music and performance, her artistic work also includes installation and film composition. She has performed at renowned festivals such as SXSW and Roadburn Festival, CTM, Fusion, Creepy Teepy, LGW, Fekete Zaj and Full of Lava. She is currently part of the opera performance "Sancta" by artist Florentina Holzinger and selected artist of the Shape+ platform for innovative music and audiovisual art for the year 2024-25.

Montreal-based artist Eric Quach, aka thisquietarmy, is now celebrating 20 years of experimental electronic and free jazz-inspired heavy drone guitar music. Over the years, he has released records on labels such as Consouling Sounds, Midira and Denovali and collaborated with members of Voivod, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Amenra and Nadja.

He has played over a thousand shows in 40 countries and has performed at internationally renowned festivals such as Le Guess Who?, Biennale Nemo, Amplifest, Dunk! Festival and Mutek.

Their collaboration began in spring 2023 on a European tour of Eric Quach's Hypnodrone Ensemble project. Otay:Onii, originally hired as the opening act of the tour, soon performed with the ensemble and became a key contributor to their latest album. The duo used the chemistry they developed to continue working together.

The result is a dialog between ethereal dissonance and emotive emotion, a powerful convergence of post-industrial ambience and emotionally charged experimentation. After "Howl and Tell", which was released in June 2025 by Cruel Nature Recordings and Katuktu Collective, they are already releasing their next album together, "Serpents and Shallows", in December 2025 to accompany their EU tour.

Felix-Florian Tödtloff works at the interface of music, sound, chance and urbanity. His artistic practice is characterized by an exploration of atmospheres, ruptures and transitions, which he makes tangible in the form of compositions, installations and performative interventions. Musically, he moves in the experimental field between ambient, drone and electroacoustics.

In fall 2025, his second album "Neuer Almanach" was released on the Weak Industries label, which was created during stays in Spain and Georgia.
