Johann Sebastian Bach has always played a major role for Francesco Tristano - both as a composer and as a pianist. He will soon be fulfilling a dream and recording Bach's complete piano works. For Francesco, however, his love of Bach goes beyond reproducing him; it does not end with playing Bach's music. Rather, he is a constant, great source of inspiration. And you can experience this live at this concert!
Francesco looks at Bach from three different perspectives. Firstly as an interpreter, by playing one of his originals. Secondly, as an improviser, by playing a free transcription of this piece. And thirdly as a composer, by making a great remix. As always, Francesco not only uses the piano, but also synthesizers and other electronic sounds. A very personal and contemporary confrontation with the great genius!
