Literature LIVE book premiere
With the editor Tanja Raich and some authors: Linus Giese, Franziska Hauser, Caroline Kraft, Markus Liske, Jayrome Robinet and Elisabeth Wellershaus
We all want to be free! So it's good that freedom is enshrined in the Basic Law. But we mean very different things by it. The same word, shouted fervently from different throats: by members of parliament from all parties, by demonstrators of all persuasions, by a great many people with very different goals. Do we have the "freedom to be free" (Hannah Arendt)? What does freedom really mean for the individual? And what conclusions can be drawn from this for society?
Twenty authors search for clues in their own lives and provide illuminating and surprising insights into key aspects such as consumption, the body, populism, work, class, literature and love.
With texts by Deniz Utlu, Şeyda Kurt, Sven Pfizenmaier, Alexandra Stanić, Jayrôme C. Robinet, Franziska Gänsler, Ninia LaGrande, Marlene Engelhorn, Luna Al-Mousli, Anna Kim, Linus Giese, Sophia Süßmilch, Madita Oeming, Çiğdem Akyol, Elisabeth Wellershaus, Caroline Kraft, Franziska Hauser, Markus Liske, Barbara Blaha and illustrations by Nikolaus Mahler
