In the interactive exhibition “Kids Make the Fair,” children ages 6 to 10 discover Leipzig’s living history and its significance as a trade fair city from their own perspective. Interactive stations encourage the children to experiment and get involved. In this way, they embark on a personal journey into the past. All their senses are engaged: they can smell, touch, and weigh exotic goods; colorful costumes are waiting to be tried on; and the history of the trade fair can be heard at several stations.
