In the organizer's words:
The "Vogelfrei" theater group at the university's German Department performs the play "Pfeffer-Rösel" (1833) by Charlotte Birch-Pfeiffer in a picturesque open-air setting (with a view of the castle) in the garden of Karlstr. 2.
There will be delicious snacks and drinks at student-friendly prices.
The historical knightly spectacle by Charlotte Birch-Pfeiffer (1800-1868) is based on the novel "Sonnenberg" by Wilhelm Asmus Döring and was first performed in Vienna in 1829. An adventurous play with suspense, romance and plenty of spice!
