For the premiere of our new literary series "FREIPLANSCHER - Die komische Lesebühne im Rüngsdorfer KulturBad", presenter Lothar Schiefer will be reading his own texts together with his highly esteemed colleague Thomas Rottschäfer.

B(oomer) meets X - Comic texts read duty-free

Lothar Schiefer is a true boomer, Thomas Rottschäfer has just made it into Generation X.

Both feel much younger in their heads than their lab results allow. In their remaining healthy years, they dedicate their comic texts and satires to the pitfalls of everyday life and questions of meaning that arise through no fault of their own.

The topics include major building sites in the bedroom, the Tuscanization of German vacation regions, psychological level crossing advice in the southern part of the city, a journey into the innermost self, sustainability when emptying the dishwasher, a transcat, the secret of successful political advice and dealing creatively with face blindness.

Participation in the event is recognized by the federal government as a "boomer soli".
