fresh fashion weeks: Batikparty x Schnibbelparty

In the organizer's words:

After a great start in 2024, the fresh fashion weeks are entering their second round this year: from April 25 to June 20, there will once again be many different fashion-related events!

Batik is a process originating from Indonesia in which textiles are dyed. There are different techniques. In our case, the fabric is either tied off and then placed in the dye bath or folded into a spiral and sprayed with dye. This then runs through the fabric, creating individual patterns.

The batik party takes place as part of the KreativLabor Open Festival in the Kreativquartier at Leonrodplatz. The utensils will be provided by us, so you only need to bring fabric. Batik works best with light-colored, clean cotton fabrics.

There will also be plenty of festival activities and the opportunity to conjure up a delicious meal from rescued food together with our Schnibbelparty team.
