Human rights are for everyone!

With this in mind, a group of Berlin-based musician friends have come together to host a one-day festival in the wild garden of Villa Kuriosum in Lichtenberg.

The program: a kaleidoscope of musical performances—solo acts, duos, and bands, ranging from folk and Americana to indie pop and grunge—along with texts and products from Gaza and regional cuisine.

The goal: to show solidarity with the Palestinian civilian population and raise funds for the Berlin-based nonprofit Transaidency. Transaidency e.V. provides vital humanitarian aid in Gaza as well as in other locations such as Sudan and Lebanon, supplying families and children there with food, clean water, medical care, and educational opportunities. Founded in 2016, the organization also runs awareness-raising and dialogue projects here in Germany on topics such as Israel/Palestine, anti-Muslim racism/anti-Semitism, and Palestinian life.

- Hate speech and discrimination, e.g., based on origin or religion, are not allowed.

- Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed either.

- The grounds are at ground level, and there is an accessible composting toilet.

- In case of rain: The stage is under a tent. If necessary, we’ll move indoors.
