With censorship in the USA after 1933? And how well did Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich actually know each other? Who was more daring on screen? And in life?

Meticulous research - literary writing, that is the trademark of Cologne-based literary scholar Angela Steidele, born in 1968. Her novels have won several awards.
