In the organizer's words:

It is often said that we Germans define ourselves through work, but is that really true?

This theatrical project explores different worlds of work. It is based on interviews with people from very different professions - such as a Syrian sales clerk, a crime scene cleaner or the porter of a workshop for people with support needs.

They report on what "going to work" means to them, what pressure they are under and whether their work extends into their free time. The ensemble also contributes their own professional experience.

The result is touching, revealing and sometimes comical portraits of how much there is to be and how much there is to be in work - and what happens when it ceases to exist.
