Anja Reschke is a journalist, presenter and author. She has presented the ARD political magazine program "Panorama" on ARD for 25 years, hosted the format "Wissen vor Acht Zukunft" and has had her own show "Reschke Fernsehen" on ARD since 2023. A 30-minute political-satirical journalism show in which socially relevant topics are presented in an entertaining way. True to the motto: "Gloss for relevance".

Anja Reschke was born in Munich in 1972. After studying political science and working for many years at the radio station Antenne Bayern, she joined NDR in Hamburg for a traineeship. As the youngest presenter of a political magazine, she took over the program Panorama at the age of 28, she presented programs such as the NDR satire magazine extra3 and for many years the media magazine ZAPP. As a reporter, Anja Reschke repeatedly reported on socially relevant topics and grievances, for example in the highly acclaimed report "Unter Lehrern" (Among Teachers) or "das Lügenfernsehen" (Lying Television). Anja Reschke became Head of the Domestic Politics department in 2014 and Head of the Society program area in 2019 until she decided to devote herself entirely to making programs again in 2021. Anja Reschke attracted a great deal of attention for her commentaries in the Tagesthemen on right-wing extremist violence, the commemoration of Auschwitz and racism. Her commentary in 2015 on the refugee crisis was shared over 20 million times online and earned her a love and shitstorm in equal measure.

She has written books about the history of Panorama, about "attitude" and the "welcome culture". Anja Reschke is one of Germany's best-known journalists and has received several awards, including the German Television Prize and the Hanns-Joachim Friedrich Prize.
