When Funkverband takes to the stage, it gets tight between the head and the hips. Because this is where groove meets attitude - and neither can be ignored for long. The band moves confidently between funk, soul and a good dose of originality - with a clear sense of when a song needs to drive and when it needs space. Sometimes straight forward, sometimes with room for nuances, but always with energy and the courage to break down stylistic boundaries.

The lyrics are in German. Comprehensible and close - no empty phrases, but words with weight. You understand every word because that's exactly what they want. Whether you bob, dance or simply listen: everything is right.
