Powder for Pigeonsis a power rock duo from Perth and Hamburg. Singer and guitarist Rhys and drummer Meike have earned a reputation for their relentlessly energetic and sweat-inducing “wall of rock” performances. Most recently on tour with Monster Magnet, Clawfinger, and Ugly Kid Joe, this power duo—and married couple who tied the knot in Las Vegas—thrills audiences with an almost magical chemistry and a massive, unmistakable sound. Rhys builds his guitars entirely by hand from Australian bushwood specifically for this purpose. With riffs that are sometimes effectively atmospheric and other times blasted out straight and hard, he generates such immense pressure that it’s hard to believe there are only two people on stage in front of you. Drummer Lady Meike, who has previously played drums in Los Angeles for a label affiliated with the legendary Sound City Studios, drives the whole thing forward with her power grooves—mostly kept in up- to mid-tempo ranges—making it really pack a punch. An exciting band that, with obvious influences from rock icons such as Helmet, RATM, Faith No More, QOTSA, and Primus, celebrates the entire spectrum of gritty, raw alternative rock—in an explosive live set. 

Icarus Burns combinepowerfully driving stoner grooves with the sprawling soundscapes of heavy psych and the complex structures of progressive metal. Icarus Burns’ music exemplifies what it means to transcend boundaries. They take us to soaring heights and earth-shaking depths—and everything in between. The members hail from Germany, the UK, and Chile, representing a multifaceted blend of cultural and musical influences.

Kardeathianfrom Dortmund render words superfluous: riffs as heavy as tons, massive grooves, and doom-laden depths erect a monumental wall of sound that takes the audience on an abysmal journey between heaviness and ecstasy—instrumental, brutal, uncompromising.
