Harris, whose career as a singer and songwriter spans over fifty years, is one of the most respected voices in US music. She is known as much for her eloquent, straightforward songwriting as for her incomparably expressive vocals.

Emmylou Harris revolutionized country radio in the 1970s and established herself as the leading songwriter of her generation. She sold more than fifteen million records and won the Grammy Awards, the Billboard Century Award, three CMA Awards and four Americana Awards.
