Gabriel Zucker & Attila Gyárfás – Jazz-Duo aus New York und Budapest
In the organizer's words:
Since meeting in New York in 2017, American pianist Gabriel Zucker and Hungarian drummer Attila Gyárfás have been touring the world together—sometimes with a grand piano and a high-fidelity sound system, other times with a minimalist drum set and a single speaker. Their debut album, “Cities and Deserts” (2022, Hunnia Records), was named the best Hungarian jazz album of the year by Jazz.hu. On September 3, they’ll be stopping at the GEH8 Biergarten in Dresden-Pieschen for an independent, free concert.
