In an age where attention spans are measured in wipe-away movements and their causes tell of a certain ephemerality, the things that really stick are all the more remarkable.

For two and a half decades, Garish have been one such stable anchor. The musical foursome make their music between hope and escapism, between a touch of irony here and an angry dose of melancholy there: lyrically always cleverly packaged, but still speaking from the soul. Garish has long since become a musical institution that has created its own universe beyond the debates on trends and commerciality. With its own language, its own color, its own emotionality.

Eight long years may have passed since the last regular album "Komm schwarzer Kater", but with side projects, a live record and an anniversary compilation recorded with colleagues, time has passed anything but quietly. More than ever, performances and real appearances are celebrated and enjoyed. That's how it should be in 2025. Garish are not back. They have never been away.

In March and April 2025, the Austro-indie musicians toured all over Austria to bring their new album "Am Ende wird alles ein Garten" to the public - including a date at the completely sold-out WUK in Vienna. And Garish will also be returning to the Austrian capital live in September: this time, an exclusive gig as part of the "Prater Sounds" concert series is on the program.
