Gartlworkshop auf der Leseterrasse
In the organizer's words:
Small space, big effect:
In this hands-on workshop on the reading terrace of the Neuhausen City Library, you will learn about native plants that grow even in the smallest of spaces (balcony, mini-garden) and find out from Dr. Julia Schmack from the Nature Conservation and Biodiversity Division of the Department of Climate and Environmental Protection which animals (e.g. insects and birds) they provide food and shelter for. A low-threshold, practical offer for anyone who wants to make urban greenery more lively, even without their own garden. And in the end, the library's reading terrace is also a better place for plants, animals and therefore also for people. Because we plant the raised beds on the reading terrace together.
Please bring gardening gloves and a planting trowel if you have one!
