The Viennese performance collective "God's Entertainment" has a penchant for putting its finger in the wound and doing so in a very poetic way. In the "Under the carpet" project, they get to the bottom of what is swept under the carpet in Germany and in Heidelberg. The special thing about it: first, a carpet is woven with the help of Heidelberg residents. Its threads and its structure of warp and weft threads are symbolic of societal associations.
From Monday to Saturday, the God's Entertainment collective invites you to weave together. In a cozy atmosphere, the collective wants to enter into an exchange with visitors during the weaving, who contribute to the creation of an oversized carpet and become part of the project through their help. No previous knowledge of weaving is necessary.
In cooperation with God's Entertainment.
