Generationen im Gespräch | Werkleitz Festival 2026

Together with eight tandems—each consisting of a younger and an older adult—Werkleitz is venturing into the realm of intergenerational dialogue.
Since February, the pairs have been meeting regularly in Halle, Hettstedt, Leipzig, and Sandersleben. At the start of their meetings, the focus was on sharing stories about their own journeys into adulthood. From these exchanges about more intimate biographical experiences—weddings, illnesses, sexuality, fears, successes, and crises—as well as from sharing in moments of everyday family life, a reflective exploration of time and the future emerged.

On July 4 and 8, the tandems will each present their impressions and experiences from the conversations to the public. 

The presentations will be moderated by Lykke Langer and Laura Linsig.
