„Gern hab ich die Frau’n geküsst.“ Große Liebeslieder der Operette - mit Holger Ries (Tenor) und Martin Brödemann (Klavier)
In the organizer's words:
Who doesn’t know them—the unforgettable titles of the great operettas: “Countess Mariza,” “The White Horse Inn,” “The Csárdás Princess,” “The Merry Widow,” “The Land of Smiles”? Millions of people have seen these productions and love their melodies, which Holger Ries and Martin Brödemann have compiled for this event.
The search for true, great, and one-and-only love drives the plot and theme of most operettas. This is reflected in the popular, cheerful—but also quite sad and dramatic—songs in this program, which Holger Ries skillfully weaves together with informative interludes. Join the performers on a journey through the world of Viennese and Berlin operetta!
Holger Ries lives in Bad Rappenau. He began his musical career in 1988 as a rock singer. He is a trained dramatic and character tenor and was a permanent ensemble member at the Schleswig-Holstein State Theater in Flensburg from 2005 to 2011. Since 2012, he has been involved in numerous independent productions.
Martin Brödemann studied piano at the Cologne University of Music, Wuppertal campus. He works as a pianist and organist. As a composer, arranger, and vocal accompanist, he has helped shape numerous cabaret and vocal programs.
