Join us on a journey through time spanning 80 years of North Rhine-Westphalia’s state parliamentary history: In four rooms designed to reflect the parliament’s past meeting venues, you’ll experience the phases of our state’s democratic development atthe House of Parliamentary Historyin Villa Horion.

80 Years of Politics in North Rhine-Westphalia
The permanent exhibition offers insight into the work of state legislators. It shows how significantly the conditions for politics and politicians have changed since the difficult post-war reconstruction years. And it commemorates the political figures of each legislative term. Over the decades, state politics has had to face major economic, social, and technological challenges. These developments are also addressed in the exhibition.
