In the organizer's words:
A collaboration between Duha e.V. and the National Theater Mannheim for the einander.Action Days 2026
In every culture, people share stories—of home, love, and hope, but also of suffering, loss, and the long journey to happiness. We sit together, listen, laugh, and feel a sense of community. Because when we share the stories of our families, our homeland, and our lives, we come together. Duha e.V. and the National Theater Mannheim would like to dedicate an evening to this tradition as part of a culinary and cultural event. Accompanied by members of the theater ensemble, Mannheim residents will take the stage to share wondrous fairy tales, grand legends, and small anecdotes from everyday life with us. Sometimes in German, sometimes in their native languages, the stories told bear witness not only to destinies both big and small, but also to the cultural richness of our city. This colorful tapestry of sounds—composed of voices, languages, words, and images—is reflected in the lovingly prepared treats that the audience can enjoy during the performance. Afterward, we’d like to invite you to a cozy get-together where you can continue to laugh, dream, and share stories. The event is free of charge; however, we ask that you register with the theater box office by email at nationaltheater.kasse@mannheim.de or by phone at 0621-1680 150. Accessible entry and restroom facilities are available. If you require accessible access, please indicate this when registering so that we can guide you accordingly. If you have any questions, please contact Ricarda Mager: ricarda.mager@mannheim.de
