Talk with Yuki Jungesblut
Moderation: Marc Gröszer and Jan Gottschalk

Yuki Jungesblut (*1974 in Hamburg, lives in Berlin) is a filmmaker, author and visual artist. She studied natural sciences and social psychology at the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics. She then studied visual communication/film at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and her work, which she describes as freestyle research, has been presented at exhibitions in Germany and abroad, as well as at several film festivals.

"She is particularly interested in threshold phenomena and states, especially the border area of fiction, reality and imagination. Jungesblut deals with memory and collective memory, literary forms and the construction of emotions. She combines her diverse interests in so-called freestyle research, which mediates between aesthetic play, the search for myth and fiction and a critical analysis of social constellations. In recent years, she has increasingly turned to photography, especially the photo book." (Urbane Künste Ruhr)
