"IS CLIMATE PROTECTION POSSIBLE WITHOUT VEGANISM?" A talk by Ania Olechowska, head of the PETA Street Team in Munich . The talk will last about 60 minutes, followed by a discussion.

Avocados are ruining the environment, almonds are using up all our water, and soy is destroying the rainforests—we often hear things like that… What you hear less often, however, is that animal products account for 77% of agricultural land, yet provide only 18% of the world’s calories, and that around 75% of soy is grown as animal feed. Is avocado toast really worse than eating meat? Is it important to shop locally? What about organic products? Learn about these topics and more regarding the environment, plant-based diets, and veganism in this lecture followed by a discussion.
