With violin legend Gidon Kremer, the figure humaine kammerchor and Andrey Boreyko, three extraordinary artistic protagonists come together in this concert.

At the center is Gija Kantscheli's "Styx" for violin, choir and orchestra - a work of great intensity between mourning, remembrance and consolation. The program is complemented by Charles Ives' "The Unanswered Question" and Brahms' Fourth Symphony, which deal with existential questions in very different musical ways.
