May 1st is just around the corner and the Isar Alm in Giesing is hosting the traditional Maypole party for the 15th time in 2026.
A relaxed holiday with Bavarian tradition, live music and regional cuisine awaits - right in the heart of the city.
It starts on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 10:30 am. Fresh Maibock from the wooden barrel creates the right atmosphere right from the start.
There will be live music from 11:30 a.m. before the maypole is raised in the traditional way and with a lot of passion at 12:00 noon.
Food is of course also provided:
Herrmannsdorfer organic barbecue and of course vegetarian and vegan alternatives.
