For over ten years now, the Dublin quartet - vocalist Dara Kiely, guitarist Alan Duggan Borges, bassist Daniel Fox and drummer Adam Faulkner - have been redefining what could roughly be described as "rock music" in the 21st century, influencing a whole host of similarly forward-thinking guitar bands in the process. The band perfected a vision that wasn't quite post-punk, not quite noise rock, not quite anything other than an idiosyncratic, groundbreaking blend that could only come from these four - their new single "Giraffe" is again a testament to great audacity.
