Glocke Graffiti Festival X REMIX ALMANYA Lecture Performance X Konzerte

On Saturday, May 9, an evening program will take place at the Glocksee as part of the Glocke Graffiti Festival. The program kicks off with a lecture performance by REMIX ALMANYA, which deals with post-migrant perspectives and realities.

🔥 lecture performance:
REMIX ALMANYA rewrites the history of hip hop. Murat Güngör and Hannes Loh bury "Deutschrap" and examine the country's biggest pop culture as the first post-migrant phenomenon that has changed Germany forever. With a feel for the scene and a critical view of politics and society, together with music journalist Uh-Young Kim, they trace the astonishing development from so-called guest worker to rap star - along historical upheavals, racism and empowerment against all odds.

This will be followed by concerts that tie in with the content of the lecture performance and continue the themes musically. The program is designed as a coherent evening.

Dubem is an up-and-coming rap artist who combines raw energy with personal depth. Between punchy boom-bap influences, modern trap sounds and unconventional ideas, he consciously moves outside of clear pigeonholes.
What makes Dubem special is his mixture of attitude and honesty. His lyrics address topics such as self-discovery, observing the scene and interpersonal tensions without losing any of their lightness. The result is a sound that is simultaneously streetwise, zeitgeisty and independent.
