GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT has captivated audiences worldwide with its unmistakable tapestry of sound, both in dynamic live performances and through its studio albums. In the midst of their relentless touring activities, the Wicklow trio is back once again with a brand new studio album, out September 6, 2024 on Napalm Records!

From psychedelic to excellent krautrock trips, driving rhythms from drummer Lloyd Hanney and collaborations with guest musicians such as Dara O'Brien, Jo Quail and Sean Coleman, the album's sonic space is further enriched by elements such as sitar, cello, zither, shamanic drums, bowed psaltery, glockenspiel and tanpura.

With artwork by internationally renowned Irish artist David Rooney and mastered by Europe's leading mastering engineer Streaky, GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT reaches remarkable heights with their latest progressive, psychedelic, instrumental post-rock opus "Embers"!
