GOGOL BORDELLO stand for an explosive mixture of punk, dub and the rousing folklore of the Roma. On September 27, the multicultural troupe will be performing at LKA longhorn in Stuttgart.

When Eugene Hütz takes to the stage, it's as if a hurricane is sweeping through the concert hall. His band GOGOL BORDELLO unleashes an energy that could easily shake a city. Their unique sound is loud, wild and uncompromising - an unleashed celebration of freedom that cannot be pigeonholed. Even though the lyrics are predominantly in English, Ukrainian and Romani passages appear again and again, emphasizing the transcultural character of the band.

Hütz, who grew up in Ukraine, arrived in New York in the 90s. He slept on friends' sofas and played acoustic sets in Ukrainian bars before finally performing at the legendary CBGB. From this underground scene, GOGOL BORDELLO developed into an eight-piece band that has performed on stage with the likes of System of a Down, Rancid and the Dropkick Murphys over the years.
