The Canadian singer-songwriter explores themes of tragic romance, glamor and survival in a cinematic blend of noir-pop, Americana and torch-song ballads. She has since established herself as one of today's most fearless storytellers.
Her debut album Goldie Boutilier Presents... Goldie Montana introduces her alter ego: a wildly glamorous outlaw inspired by the antiheroes of Scarface and Casino. The album is both confession and reconquest and tells of her struggle for control, her resilience in the face of exploitation and the transformation of shame into power.
