Goran Bregovic and his Wedding & Funeral Band are coming to Dresden for the Open Air.

Once one of the biggest rock stars in Eastern Europe, Goran Bregovic has been synonymous with sophisticated, complex contemporary music for 20 years, in which rousing wind instruments take center stage and which is also very melodic thanks to voices that are used like instruments.
Whether on record or live, he is THE pioneer of Southeast European music and takes the audience on a breathtaking journey along the Balkans and far beyond at his concerts with the Wedding And Funeral Band.
Known as a film composer (especially for Emir Kusturica's film classics) and in demand as a contemporary composer, Bregovic frequently performs at the world's most prestigious concert halls in addition to major festivals. He has already sold out the Alte Oper Frankfurt and the Kölner Philharmonie several times.
He comes to Dresden with his 9-piece Wedding & Funeral Band.
