On a battlefield at the end of humanity, the mercenary Brunhild aims at an enemy soldier - until she thinks she recognizes her. But is the other woman really Kriemhild or is she just playing along to save her life? Thrown back on themselves, the two heroines of the Song of the Nibelungs struggle to interpret their past and determine themselves in a crumbling system. Their encounter always ends fatally.
