In the organizer's words:
A few months ago, thefotoarchive was just an idea. An idea that we just couldn’t let go of.
We wanted to create a place that we ourselves had always missed in Kiel: a home for photography—a place to exhibit, share, discover, and connect. A place where pictures don’t just hang on walls, but tell stories and bring people together.
Since then, we’ve spent countless hours planning, scrapping ideas, building, organizing, doubting ourselves, and finding new motivation. And now we can finally say: We’re opening. ❤️

For the opening, we’ll be showcasing works by:

You’ll also have the chance to explore our selection of photo prints—ranging from postcards to DIN A0—and take them home with you that very evening. Printed and framed in Kiel by IB Gosch.
Come by, check out the exhibition, raise a glass with us, and get to know the space we’ve built with so much love.
