Gregor Pallast disappeared from the cabaret stages for two and a half years. Whether he simply watched the world derail or collected the madness in peace - we don't know for sure. But what we do know is that he's back. And how.
With his fourth solo program, the Bonn cabaret artist returns to the Pantheon - where political wit still has attitude and the punchline doesn't give up at the first round of applause. As usual, Pallast serves up razor-sharp analysis, biting satire and a view of the Republic that is so clear that the laughter sometimes gets stuck in your throat.
Politics? Is dismantled. The media? Are unmasked. The audience? Challenged - and rewarded.
With the premiere of "Pallast der Republik", the "Reinheimer Satirelöwe" and "Paulaner Solo" award winner officially ends a two-and-a-half-year break from the stage.
The press say:
"Pallast chooses paths and causal chains that ascend on cringles and circles to the Olympus of political cabaret." Süddeutsche Zeitung
