On June 9, both European and local elections will take place and the election campaign is in full swing. Although the upcoming elections are incredibly important, they both usually struggle with very low voter turnout. We must therefore motivate people to vote for democratic parties and individuals.
In Saxony in particular, right-wing extremist forces and theories are gaining more and more ground through the AfD. The attack on Matthias Ecke shows that the increasing verbal brutalization by right-wing populists ultimately also leads to physical attacks on people. This must be countered and opposed!
That is why we, as a broad alliance, are calling for a powerful signal to be sent from Leipzig. Take to the streets on June 8 and send a signal for democracy, diversity and human dignity!
