Cathy and Margaux are best friends. Margaux is in a wheelchair due to a muscle disease and her parents have little confidence in her. For her 10th birthday, Cathy receives a duck egg and incubator. Together, the friends take care of the little duckling and save it when it ends up on a poultry farm.
