Emotional and fascinating - the guitar, one of the most played and versatile instruments of our time, will once again resound in all its facets with these three virtuosos on our stage on 18.05.2024.

Whether classical, jazz, pop, rock, blues or flamenco and world music: the repertoire of the international trio, consisting of Ian Melrose (Scotland), Rüdiger Krause (Germany) and Nikos Tsiachris (Greece), leaves nothing to be desired on this evening. All three are virtuosos, composers and arrangers and whether solo or in pairs, but especially in the trio arrangements, the three well-known masters of the guitar create a musical and audiophile pleasure of the highest quality.

Since their last visit to us in August 2021, several new arrangements and compositions have been created - both solo and in duos and trios. The wistful, melancholy expanse of a Celtic ballad then transforms into a fiery Spanish buleria; an intense blues becomes fast-paced Balkan jazz.

Complemented by magnificent interpretations of well-known classics, from Bach and Albeniz to Henry Mancini and Laurie Johnson (with umbrella, charm and bowler hat...), the trio once again proves with unbridled delight in tonal beauty and improvisation why the guitar is one of the world's most popular instruments.
