HALF-NAKED CONSTRUCTION WORKERS

Ute - a single woman in her forties, living in a shared flat in Berlin. Ute never gives up, she's a fighter!

But after the end of her last relationship, she has come to the conclusion that she is incapable of being in a relationship, to dismiss great love as a fairy tale and to enjoy her new-found freedom to the full. That's the plan, but it's much easier said than done! Because a career is out of the question, the flatmate is annoying and good sex is in short supply as soon as you pass 30 - at least that's what Ute thinks.
But when a Johnny Depp lookalike and the fundamentally solid, nice Michael suddenly rush into Ute's life at the same time, her world is turned upside down.

A play about male clichés, female fantasies and the realization that being single is not for "weaklings", that you can also grow from your problems and that everything can be highly amusing. Only one question remains: What do the sexy construction workers from the 90s Coke commercials have to do with all this?

Halbnackte Bauarbeiter" is the stage adaptation of the successful novel of the same name by well-known cabaret artist Martina Brandl.
