Watch out, Bremen - it's going to get loud at the start of the year. And really loud.
The underground is rumbling, guitars are being nervously tuned and somewhere between amplifier noise and beer mat wisdom, one name comes up more and more often: HAMATO YOSHI.
Four guys, a collective pulse of 180 BPM and enough energy to shake entire power grids.
Anyone who has experienced HAMATO YOSHI live knows: this is not a concert, this is a controlled musical state of emergency. Distinctive voice, uninhibited joy of playing and punk rock that moves somewhere between Rise Against, Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Billy Talent - and yes, with a very wry grin - Roy Black. Why? Because they can do it.
The sound: raw, melodic, loud, honest.
The attitude: Tarantino moments between style and bluntness.
The result: an evening that quickly turns a "Huh?" into a collective "OH YES!".
After their album "Love Hate Steady State" (2024), the next chapter is already waiting in the wings:
In December 2025, HAMATO YOSHI will disappear into the LimeTree Studios in Hildesheim to record a new EP - release 2026, neck stiffness included.
And it is precisely this new chapter that will be opened live first:
At Betty's Black Pearl.
Loud. Passionately. With passion, sweat and probably too little space in front of the stage.
In short:
If you love punk rock, you should come.
If you don't love it, come back anyway.
HAMATO YOSHI live - question mark off, exclamation mark on.
