Hannes Wittmer would like to put the last three years of his life behind him. Draw a line, just move on and never look back. But of course you always carry everything you experience with you, like a scar that may stop hurting at some point, but never stops reminding you, no matter where your journey takes you.
With "Sag es allen Leuten", Hannes Wittmer has written an album about stuckness and depression, on both a social and personal level. His songs have always been close and sincere, but this album is certainly his most personal. It is an LP with two sides: One about slipping in, one about liberation. It's about resignation and defiance, heaviness and lightness, and about the question of why we are the way we are at this time.
Hannes Wittmer invites us to take an honest look inside ourselves, because some pains do not disappear unless we dare to look closely. And scars are not only a reminder of pain, but also of the ability to heal. Hannes Wittmer still has big plans - and with these 10 new songs he is taking the first step. He is only too happy to follow.
