Erich Kästner on the occasion of his 125th birthday - A cross-section of "Gebrauchslyrik" for adults.
This selection of poems and epigrams shows the wide range of Kästner's colors. Beginning with serious, autobiographical texts on the First World War and the emerging era of National Socialism, it leads with poems on the theme of 'Mother' to 'Children' to the sometimes biting poems that humorously describe the people and circumstances of Kästner's Berlin years.
