Nothing is better for a little escape after the birth of a second child than loading up the car with instruments and standing on a stage with an older gentleman. After Jonas and Tabea Well left the business (they were determined to take up a "serious" profession), Sarah Well, eldest daughter of music cabaret artist Hans Well (Biermösl Blosn, Wellbappn), persuaded her father to create a new program.

Together with the ingenious dulcimer player and versatile musician Komalé Akakpo, the duo soon became a trio. Hans and Sarah quickly realized that Komalé came from somewhere completely different - from Swabia. Otherwise, however, he was fine and has now integrated well into the group. He also brings a bit of color to the stage.

The extremely diverse trio (woman, half-African and old white man) has been on the road since mid-2024, performing in cabarets, pubs and beer tents. Informal collaborators are activated at each performance venue, with whose help a tailor-made opening text is devised for each performance, which then celebrates its world premiere there.

Sarah, who has been a violist, saxophonist, accordionist and soprano in the Wellbappn for 13 years, sets the drafts of lyricist, guitarist and alphorn dilettante Hans Well to music with dulcimer virtuoso, bassist and top musician Komalé during "Supervised Singing". No genre is safe, they don't even shy away from dulcimer reggae.

The Wellbappn also guarantee politically acute, witty musical cabaret and the best Bavarian satire in their new formation. Well suited for consumption with beer, snacks and wine.
