HANSE GUITAR CUP - Finale "Popular Guitar Styles"

Under the title “HANSE GUITAR CUP,” an international competition for young guitarists will once again be included in the program of the Hanse Guitar Festival —formerly the Hamburg Guitar Festival. Following a preliminary round, 12 young guitarists will compete from October 19–24, 2026, in a tournament-style format at six different Haspa branches in the neighborhood, with three finalists in each of the categories “Classical Guitar” and “Popular Guitar Styles.” The finals will take place on the stage of the Hamburg Guitar Festival. The winners of the competition will receive, among other things, an engagement as part of the Hamburg Guitar Days or the 2028 Hamburg Guitar Festival, as well as additional prizes. Free admission to all competition concerts.
