Your home is taking shape: The next steps with Home Assistant!

Have you mastered the basics of Home Assistant and is your smart home ready to go? Then it’s time to unlock its full potential! In this second part of our workshop, we’ll focus on the heart of home automation: sensors, actuators, integrations, and apps.

In this part, we’ll integrate devices from various manufacturers: lights, thermostats, switches, smart switches, and much more. You’ll learn how to integrate proprietary systems from different manufacturers into Home Assistant using integrations and apps (e.g., Philips Hue and ZigBee).

What to expect in this workshop:
Devices: Integrating a wide variety of devices from different manufacturers via integrations
Apps: Expand Home Assistant’s functionality with additional apps, e.g., for long-term data storage or your own music streaming service
HACS: The Home Assistant Community Store as an additional source for integrating more devices and features

Build your smart home, integrate all the devices and features you need, and assign them to your rooms. This way, you’ll keep track of everything and lay the foundation for your automated home.

New in this course: Each participant will be provided with a MINI PC for the duration of the course (quad-core CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD). At the end of the course, all participants who attended all three course sessions can take this PC home for a nominal fee of 80,- € (please bring cash with you)!
