Musical encounters - up close and personal

The house concerts are the kick-off format of the courtyard festival. In an imaginary radius directly around the TONALi Campus, neighbors open up their living rooms, kitchens and stairwells for private, intimate music performances. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., musicians and listeners meet in small groups - whether family, friends or curious guests. After the house concerts, we invite you to join us at the TONALi courtyard for the courtyard party, where workshops, 1:1 encounters and the big joint art event await you.

Program

The house concerts are planned and organized by the hosts - TONALi provides support in the background. This means that the neighbors around the TONALi Campus decide for themselves when and where their small music event takes place, who performs and how many guests come. Some invite family and friends, others are open to all curious neighbors.

The musical guests are a mix: professional musicians who are enthusiastic about the idea of house concerts, but also talented musicians from the neighborhood itself. This creates a special authenticity - the music doesn't come from a distant stage, but from people who live next door to you.

The house concerts offer musical diversity: classical, jazz, folk, pop and rock. From oboe to cello duo with guitar to combinations with other instruments - every concert is a surprise!

After the house concerts (around 1 p.m.), we cordially invite you to the TONALi courtyard. Workshops, 1:1 encounters and the joint art event - the world premiere of the sound score - await you there at 4 pm. The house concerts are the musical prelude to a day full of encounters and creativity.
