The Düsseldorf off-beat maniacs "Heavy Gummi" have been putting people in a good mood with their rhythms and making dancing shoes smoke on and in front of the stage since 1989. Whether polka, ska, global beats - blues, country, Balkan, reggae or cumbia - world music in the best sense of the word!

The band has a desire to experiment and, with the energy of punk, the passion of Latin American dance music and hot ska and reggae beats, sets a frenetic pace right from the start and is characterized by a contemporary swing, versatility and sophisticated arrangements.
